Goran Gojevic (Artistic Director)
Teaches: Clarinet, Saxophone, Flute.


Goran Gojevic, recipient of numerous clarinet scholarships and grants, graduated from Belgrade Conservatory in 1986. At the Faculty of Music in Novi Sad, Yugoslavia Goran was awarded Bachelor of Arts in Clarinet Performance in 1991.
In 1993, he received his Masters Degree at the same University. Throughout his years at the university, Goran was in demand as a featured soloist and member of ensembles such as the Belgrade Philharmonic, Novi Sad Symphony, National Opera and Ballet Orchestra – Belgrade, Conservatory Orchestra, and University Symphony Orchestra.

Goran has frequently recorded for radio and television and has participated in a number of world class competitions. In 1990, he competed in the International Competition for Musical Performers in Geneva – Switzerland, and in 1991 Goran was the winner of Yugoslavia’s National Musical Competition.


Since he came to Canada in 1993 he has performed as a soloist and chamber musician at the Glenn Gould Studio, Toronto Centre for the Arts, Royal Ontario Museum and McMichael Gallery. In 1996 he was a founder of “Toronto Woodwinds” Woodwind Quartet. He has performed as a clarinetist and bass clarinetist with a variety of symphony orchestras such as the Oshawa Symphony, Harmony Orchestra, Festival Players, and was a coach for the Halton Youth Symphony Orchestra.


His recordings include “Hotel Balkan”, recorded in 2004, and “Virtuoso Clarinet”, recorded in 2007. Currently Mr. Gojevic is Artistic Director of Goya School of Music Ltd., the school which he established in 2000.
