Sonia Centofanti
Teaches: Piano, Voice


Sonia Centofanti has been teaching music, privately and in group settings in the G.T.A. for the past 12 years. She is currently working at Goya School of Music, where her classes include Voice, Piano and Theory for all ages.
She is continuing her education through Humber College Music Programme in Jazz Performance, as well as Royal Conservatory of Music Canada in Voice and Piano. She has had the opportunity to study bel canto in Italy at the Conservatory di Santa Cecilia as a Mezzo-Soprano. She has performed at such venues as Roy Thompson Hall – Toronto, Silani Theatre – Montreal, World Stage in Disneyland – Florida and countless Music festivals internationally.

Musical Theatre has also been an interest to her, as she began acting on stage, playing roles such as “Golde” in “Fiddler on the Roof”, “Godspell”, “Oliver” and “Guys and Dolls”. She also has been a stage director for productions of “Anne of Green Gables” and “Alice in Wonderland”. Sonia is pleased to be teaching at Goya for her 5th year with great enthusiasm and creativity, hoping to inspire her students and cultivate their musical potential.
